I love working out, it boosts my energy
and my mood but I absolutely hate gyms. I’ve had memberships before and I use
to love to go work out in the middle of the night when I couldn’t sleep. However,
my workouts were always the same. I would jog on the treadmill for about twenty
minutes, ride the bike for another twenty minutes and then I would play with
the machines not really knowing what I was doing. I always left feeling like I
didn’t really get a work out.
I first started working out at home
in October of 2013. At first I was skeptical because all of the work out
programs that I had done at home didn’t really do anything for me. I got bored
or I felt like it wasn’t a good workout. But then I met Turbo Fire. It is one
of the most amazing programs that I have ever done. I had sweat dripping off of
me, I was out of breath, my muscles burned and I felt absolutely amazing! After
ninety days I lost 30 pounds.
It’s not just the program that makes
me feel awesome, it’s the fact that when I work out at home, I don’t care what
I look like, I can grunt, sweat, moan, scream, swear or look absolutely
ridiculous while I am learning the moves and no one is there to judge me or
make me feel weak.
I am currently using the 21 day fix,
The first round has been rocky. I will admit I haven’t been doing so hot when
it comes to my nutrition but I love the work outs. So I am going to be doing
another round of the 21 day fix and see if I can get even better results! So
far on this round I have lost 5 pounds, an inch off my waist and two inches off
each thigh, and it’s not even the full 21 days. I will find out on Sunday what
my total loss was and I can’t wait.
So, here’s to no more gyms, no more
workouts that feel like I haven’t accomplished anything and no more feeling
like I can’t.
